Enables and selects different modes of motor I2t protection. Options 3 and 4 are added in order to keep the compatibility with older versions of the firmware. Note that there is a change of drive's behavior for options 3 and 4, when comparing older and v5.3 version of the firmware. If a user had selected option 3 with older version of the firmware, the drive wouldn't have I2t protection enabled, while in the v5.3 I2t protection will be active. The same goes for the option 4.

This field determines how long the motor can operate while peak rms current is flowing in its windings. This time should be determined by motor manufacturer. |

This is an index of motor's "over-heat" status. It changes between 0 and 250. At 0%, the motor is not overheated. When this value reaches 100% the motor is at its maximum allowed overheat conditions, and if motor I2t protection is enabled, the maximum rms current will be limited. This limitation will be removed when the percentage drops to 50% or less. This object value is updated with the motor heat index only when motor i2t protection is enabled. |

As long as it is 0, i2t or stall protection is not enforcing any limit on maximum rms current of your motor or output current of the inverter. Once it is 1 it means that i2t algorithm is limiting the "maximum rms currents" of your motor or the output current of the drive's inverter. In case of motor overheating I2t protection limits the current to rated RMS value of motor phase current. To avoid overheating windings in stall conditions, if the fundamental frequency of motor phase current is less than 10 Hz, the RMS value of motor phase current will be considered as its instantaneous absolute value. |
