Besides various standard interfaces for absolute and incremental encoders, SOMANET devices are equipped with a multitude of general purpose digital and analog IOs. These can be both directly propagated to a higher level controller via the field-bus interface, or configured to internally be used for triggering, homing, etc.

It’s also possible to connect devices devices such as valves, magnetic actuators or LEDs to digital outputs.
